Refund & Billing Policy
1) Subscription Fees
Subscription fees are charged in advance for the billing period shown at checkout (monthly or annual, if offered). Unless required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period begins, including in cases of partial use, early cancellation, or unused time.
2) Trials and First-Time Subscriptions
- If a free or discounted trial is offered, you may cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges.
- If you are charged because you did not cancel before the trial ends, refunds are not guaranteed.
- Where required by applicable law, we will honor mandatory cancellation/refund rights.
3) Processing, Payroll, and Third-Party Fees
Certain Service features may initiate processing events, including but not limited to payment processing, ACH or banking network instructions, payroll execution, document generation, or filings facilitation via third-party providers.
All such fees are non-refundable once processing has commenced, including in cases where results are delayed, rejected, reversed, or impacted by third-party outages, bank rules, insufficient funds, incorrect input, authorization issues, or other conditions outside our control.
4) Upgrade / Downgrade
- Upgrades may take effect immediately. Any proration is handled by the payment processor (e.g., Stripe) based on your plan configuration.
- Downgrades generally take effect at the next renewal unless stated otherwise during plan change.
- Plan changes do not automatically create refund rights for previously paid amounts.
5) Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals, but does not automatically refund fees already paid. Your access remains active through the end of the current paid period unless your account is suspended for policy violations, non-payment, chargeback risk, fraud prevention, or legal compliance requirements.
6) Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend service access while the dispute is investigated. You remain responsible for amounts due under your subscription and for any fees or costs incurred by us as a result of the dispute. Repeated disputes, suspected fraud, or abuse indicators may result in account termination.
7) Exceptional Refunds (Case-by-Case)
We may consider a refund or credit in limited cases, at our discretion, for example:
- Duplicate subscription charges confirmed for the same billing period.
- Billing errors caused by a verified system malfunction supported by our logs.
- Refunds required by applicable law.
Any approved refund is issued to the original payment method. Posting times depend on your bank or payment method and may take several business days.
8) Taxes and Governmental Fees
Taxes, governmental fees, and third-party processing fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
9) How to Request a Refund Review
To request a refund review, contact support and include:
- Account email
- Company name (if applicable)
- Invoice ID or Stripe receipt reference
- Reason for request
